Unexpectedly
Teacups gaily painted gather
Alongside pots with spouts
With cuke witches
And marching turkey legs
As friends arrive
Moods all sorts and sizes
Some adorning summery dress
Some very dark and stormy
Hell's Mistresses all
Ordering steeping bags
As I sip daintily
Knowing resignedly
